Dr. Abichou is a Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering, at FAMU-FSU College of Engineering at Florida State University. Dr. Abichou received his MS and PhD form the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Some of his research activities include primarily designing, analyzing, and testing geotechnical components of landfills and especially containment structures and barrier systems. He is also involved in investigating the quantification, modeling, and mitigation of landfill methane emissions.
